How EVknowhow can help
From 2030 anyone in the UK looking to purchase a new car will have to buy electric and by then the used car market will be rapidly changing to one dominated by EVs as well. Of course there will be petrol or diesel (sometimes referred to as ICE - internal combustion engine) cars available on the used market for many years but electric cars offer huge advantages for those prepared to embrace the change.
Petrol and diesel cars have been an integral part of all our lives for so long and change is sometimes hard to come to terms with. This has been made harder by both legacy car manufacturers and the fossil fuel industry who both have huge vested interests in slowing the rate of change to EVs. That's why you'll see so many negative stories in the media about EVs; how they're supposedly worse for the environment, take longer to fuel, are more expensive to run and catch fire all the time! We deal with these myths along with a number of others from the last few years in our 'Myth Busting' section.
It can be difficult to know where to go for unbiased and straightforward information. At EVknowhow, our Beginners' Guides are a great place to start. You'll find all the information you need to know about EVs and related topics. If you are already, or as you become, more knowledgable about EVs, we cover a range of more specialist topics in our EV Informaiton section.
